5. Data Processing for Merchants

When you use Mechanic to automate tasks in your store, you act as the data controller of your customers’ information, and Lightward acts as a data processor on your behalf. We process customer data only according to your instructions (the tasks you configure) and do not use it for any other purpose.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep data only as long as necessary to provide services. Data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe or upon request.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and MFA.
